FAQs

Q: Who is this membership for?

A: The Painterly Way is for emerging abstract expressionist style painters at any stage of their development, from beginner to intermediate.

Q: Will I get trapped, unable to quit?

A: No! While we cannot offer refunds for money that is already collected, you can easily stop the next installment from being charged to you by contacting Caryl. You won’t have to put up with pushiness, we promise! Just be sure to let Caryl know by email at least ten days prior to the following month, so you will not be charged for the next month accordingly. Your Membership benefits will be canceled at that time.

Q: I’m not on Facebook. Will I totally miss out?

A: You sure won’t! Our monthly live sessions with Caryl and guest speakers are conducted on Zoom, and the monthly lessons and resources are all delivered via the membership portal. If you’re not a Facebook user, the only thing you’ll miss out on is a place to post your exercises, post questions, see event reminders from Caryl, and interact with other members in the Facebook group.

Q: I’ve never painted. Am I too much of a beginner for this course?

A: We highly encourage all levels to participate—all are welcome.
